Sensory Hours

The Reading Public Museum strives to be a place of lifelong learning and enjoyment for guests of all ages and abilities. As a result, we will be hosting special sensory-inclusive hours for guests and their caretakers who require a quieter atmosphere to explore The Museum. Guests who pre-register will receive a pre-visit packet with information to share with their dependent.

Registration is Suggested. Email Becky to sign up for this program.

This program is FREE for Members and FREE with Museum or Planetarium.

March 10 from 5 - 6 pm (Museum)

March 22  from 10 - 11 am (Museum)

March 24 from 5 - 6 pm (Planetarium)

April 7 from 5 - 6 pm (Planetarium)

April 18 from 5 - 6 pm (Museum)

Private sensory hours can be scheduled by contacting Becky in the education department at becky.ruth@readingpublicmuseum.org.  Private sensory hours must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in-advance and will be an additional $50/hr. fee and have a maximum attendance of 8 guests.
