The Museum and the Neag Planetarium are open every day except for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Guided tours for preschool, K-12, college, extracurricular groups, adults, seniors, and special-needs groups are available all year long. We can arrange a customized visit to The Museum, the Neag Planetarium, or the arboretum that your group will never forget!

Customize my Directions!Free parking is available in the lot between The Museum and the Neag Planetarium. Please use either the Museum Road main entrance or the Parkside Drive South entrance.
RPM is committed to making its programs and services accessible to everyone, so The Museum, the Neag Planetarium, and the arboretum are all ADA Accessible. For the convenience of our guests, entrance ramps are accessible at both buildings.
The Museum offers wheelchairs free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Admissions desk. All floors of The Museum are accessible by elevator, and bench seating is available throughout the galleries. There are accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain on the Ground floor.
The Neag Planetarium’s single level is your gateway to the stars. Service dogs are welcome in both The Museum and the Neag Planetarium with the expectation that they will obey the same policies as all other visitors.
Our beautiful arboretum includes some hilly terrain. While there are paved paths and benches throughout the gardens, traversing some areas of the arboretum could prove challenging for some guests.
