May 4 – Science Facts in Fiction at The Neag Planetarium (11am-3pm)
Join Reading Public Museum Educators and the S.P.A.R.K.S Foundation for a day of learning inspired by a world of space in a galaxy far, far away. Attendees can make crafts and projects while also engaging in fun experiments and activities. Snacks and drinks will also be provided. Registrations for this event are required. Cost of admission is FREE, but we ask that you consider donating what you feel you can so that we can continue to provide these types of events in the future.
May 11 - A Journey into Nature’s Neighborhood (11am-3pm)
As a farewell to Reading Public Museum and Berks Nature’s featured exhibit, Nature All Around Us, families are invited to The Museum for a day of learning about all the unique neighborhoods of our local ecosystems and habitats. Other community groups will be in hand to talk about how they work with our natural environments. Activities will also discuss our wildlife neighbors and how we can lend them a hand.
