Easter at The Museum is a tradition that has been around for almost as long as The Museum itself. Although the event has evolved and changed a bit over the years, its popularity has not waned. This year we featured An “Out of This World” Easter to celebrate our temporary exhibition Astronaut. On April 21, almost 800 people visited The Museum, many showing off their Easter finery. Children waited patiently for a picture with the Easter Bunny, courtesy of Reading Magazine, and snapped funny pictures with Easter props at the RPM Step & Repeat Photo Backdrop. After searching for Easter eggs throughout The Museum galleries, children received a prize bag filled with local area coupons and goodies. Children and their families rounded out their Museum Easter experience with space-themed, Easter crafts, like an Astronaut Bag and Alien Easter Egg.
