The question are we alone has fascinated mankind for centuries. From books to movies and everything in between, we’ve asked, studied and dissected this idea from every angle. With the advent of manned spaceflight in the mid-20th century, finding the answer to that question has become a tantalizing reality.
Inside this exciting exhibit are nine themed environments that will immerse museum-goers in a wide variety of discoveries and theories on space travel and the possibility of life beyond the planet earth. There are hands on experiments, real live robots and so much more. You can even ride along with the Mars Rover as it scours the surface of our nearest planetary neighbor. It’s an experience that anyone who has dreamed of flying through the frontiers of space won’t want to miss.
As with any exhibit about space and technology, there are life-size models of some of the inspirations behind the kinds of robots and space crafts we use today. Inside the exhibit you’ll find a life-size C-3PO, R2-D2, and BB-8 from the Star Wars films, an exact replica of Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit, robots from the Terminator movies and more! Since fiction can inform real life, it’s no wonder that so many of our inspirations come from those things that excite our imagination.
From deep-sea exploration to robotics and cyborgs, there is plenty to engage the imagination and ignite curiosity. With hands-on exhibits designed to bring this science to spectacular life, visitors will come away with a desire to look to the stars and see what’s out there. Don’t miss out on your chance to see this incredible and interactive exhibit. People of all ages and backgrounds are sure to discover the wonder of space exploration and learn more about the fictional characters that are inspiring engineers and scientists to create new technologies. Are we alone in the universe? Come find out!
This exhibition is produced by GES Events.
