Learn from fascinating guest speakers and enjoy the company of others who share your interest in art and ideas. These programs feature a variety of topics that are based on our collections and/or our temporary exhibits. The speakers are knowledgeable and present both traditional and eclectic points of view. Wednesdays After Dark

You can enjoy all of these activities and lectures designed to stimulate thought and dialogue and inspire your spirit. These are the Reading Public Museum’s approach to community engagement and enrichment. Whether it be a single lecture, a series of lectures, or a workshop, come out and spend some “me” time.

Workshops

Come to the Museum in your own backyard and be a part of a community of learners, featuring hands-on art making and thoughtful discussions. Qualified teacher will present a variety of experiences for both those new to art and those already comfortable in the field.
